FCC Construcción obtains an excellent rating in its North Runway Dublin Airport project
The certificate has been granted by the Builders Association from UK and Ireland "Consider Constructors". I know has highly valued positive aspects of the project as care about appearance, respect the community, Protect the Environment, Care about Safety, Value their Workforce, obtaining in all of them a score of 9 over 9.
Currently, Dublin Airport has two operational runways: the main runway 10R / 28L and a 16/34 cross track that only comes into operation when they occur certain weather conditions and on certain occasions to reduce aircraft traffic from the main track.
The new runway "North Runway" in execution, has a length of 3,110 meters and will be located in the north of the airport and parallel to the main runway existing 10R / 28L. The main objective of the project is to decongest traffic of airplanes from the main runway and increase the traffic and air frequency of the airport.

FCC Construcción has a strong and stable presence in Ireland through infrastructure projects essential for the country's development: expansion of the M-50 urban motorway with two to four lanes in each direction, which constitutes the circulation of Dublin around which the accesses to the city are articulated, and in particular, to the airport and the port of said city. FCC is currently executing the contract for the design and construction of two buildings from the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) on the campus of Grangegorman in Dublin (Ireland). Once completed they will provide services 10,000 students and the staff of the University Grangegorman.
In addition, within the facilities of Dublin airport, FCC Industrial develops the renovation of the fuel supply facilities for aircraft and airport hydrant system. With this infrastructure FCC Industrial enables an improvement in the capacity to supply fuel to planes at Dublin airport.
